Common suspension problems?

Hi all (new here),

Driving my Polo lately I have noticed it is a lot more bumpier than usual at the back, sometimes I hear a knocking which sounds like it is inside the cabin?

I have checked the boot area and everything looks secure. The only loose thing seems to be that polystyrene tray which holds some of the jacking equipment. I have also check the exhaust and nothing seems loose there either.

Are there any common suspension issues i should look out for or get checked?

The rear shock top mountings of Polo 6Rs can cause knocking noises which are mostly audible when driving slowly on a bumpy roads.
The superseded part number is 6R0513353, no B at the end.

So took the car to the garage yesterday and found out the cause of knocking was the shock absorbers. They were leaking gas.

Got it approved through warranty and saved my self £300
