Hi all (new here),
Driving my Polo lately I have noticed it is a lot more bumpier than usual at the back, sometimes I hear a knocking which sounds like it is inside the cabin?
I have checked the boot area and everything looks secure. The only loose thing seems to be that polystyrene tray which holds some of the jacking equipment. I have also check the exhaust and nothing seems loose there either.
Are there any common suspension issues i should look out for or get checked?
Common suspension problems?
Re: Common suspension problems?
The rear shock top mountings of Polo 6Rs can cause knocking noises which are mostly audible when driving slowly on a bumpy roads.Xeon5 wrote:Hi all (new here),

The superseded part number is 6R0513353, no B at the end.
Re: Common suspension problems?
So took the car to the garage yesterday and found out the cause of knocking was the shock absorbers. They were leaking gas.
