If not your current car... then??

Post by Tahrey1043 »

Just wondering what people would have bought / taken (!) as their chosen motors, if not plumping for their current ride... either things you were umming and ahhing over, or dreamcars, or something you'd have a taster of in hindsight....... etc etc

and i maybe should add extra layers that can be peeled away for the hardcore enthusiasts.... ie

* ok, so if it wasn't "this other polo thats so much better..."
* if it wasn't some other small VW?
* if it wasn't any other VW?
* if it wasn't any other VAG car?

Porsche Carrera GT

Dream Garage:

Porsche Carrera GT
New Range Rover HSE (with all the options)

If I didn't have a lot to spend on a car:

Mk III Polo G40, or is that a bit too much over the buget? What about a MkI Golf Cabriolet?

If I'd got quite a lot more money to spend on a car:

Audi S3, black, chrome/brushed aluminium wing-mirrors, sat-nav, leather Recaros...

If I'd got unlimited amounts of money (aka lotto win):

Can I pick several cars? I don't just have one, I'd love to get an S3 (see above) may be a Porsche or a S4? Hmm...difficult choice...

Dream Garage:

I'd have one of each of the models of Golf GTIs...

MkI Golf GTI
MkII Golf GTI
MkIII Golf GTI (anniversary model)
MkIV Golf GTI (anniversary model too)
MkV Golf GTI (when it come out!)

These would be show cars stored in my dream garage, along with my daily runner, the S3, a summer runner, MkI Golf GTI Cabriolet, a baby runner (if the girl I end up with for the rest of my life puts a hole in the condom!) a S4...

I wish i had baught a Lupo Gti, Instead of the current polo, coz its about the same price since im getting screwed over by he finance.
If i had a better look about the garage i would have chosen the Silver 16v version.

My dream has to a White Skyline R34.

Hopefully a 1.8 Turbo conversion is next. But i really fancy having a Leon Cupra R, Yellow with black alloys

Thats a few of my choices.
