Aux port radio

Hi guys im wondering if it is possible to put an aux port into a standard polo 6n2 cassette head unit, ive seen forums that say if have cassette and cd changer not possible but cant seem to find a defined answer and how to guide, any help will be appricated. TIA

You would have to lose the CD changer to have an aux in as it uses the same ports

I would look into replacing the headunit with something else as the standard head unit has a very poor sound processor in it.

I don't have a CD player in it just the cassette (tape) player on its own :) so it is possible with that? Thanks

Yes it will but I would honestly think about getting a new head unit and swapping it out. The sound quality is much to be desired on the original

I will at some point get a new one. Do you know where I could get the cable and is it easy enough to fit plug and play? Thanks

You can get the cable on eBay. Just search for gamma aux in

You'll want one that tricks it into thinking its a CD changer

It just plugs into where the blue blank is on the back of the radio
