So I've come across this Axton subwoofer from the German Polo forum on Facebook. http://www.axton.de/axb20stp_uk.php
It's been fitted successfully to a GTi 6r so I assume the only difference is for the 6c the power is in the boot now the battery has been moved.
As I'm still waiting for my car however I don't know whether the spare wheel space is any smaller than the 6r because of this?
Also does anyone have a guide with pictures on the best way to route cables from head unit to the back?

Re: Spare wheel subwoofer
Hi CJO, looks like no one replied to your posting, have you received your car yet and have you done anything with the sub yet? Our GTi arives in June and I'm thinking of the same or just using the Pioneer TS-WX710A - Space-Saving 200W Amplified Subwoofer. If you get chance let me know how you got on, cheers
