Thanks for your reply, :) So I can reuse the loom in the golf steering wheel? Without modding the horn or anything? And no I don't but I can try find somewhere that will reset any errors, was gonna give it a go myself but I'm a newbie to doing work to my car, looks simple enough though

For the first time the hardest is remove the airbag, but later it takes up to 10 seconds ;)
You don't want MFSW, so it will be quick modification.
As for the airbag wiring, maybe @ciclo can write something about this..? :) (IMO @ciclo is the best Polo specialist )

:) great, I will give it a go myself, I've watched a lot of videos and read up a lot about taking the airbag out and steering wheel off etc that bit doesn't worry me. It's just getting the wiring right so the horn still works haha I've read somewhere that I can just plug my airbag loom straight into the new steering wheel airbag (not sure if this would even fit) and then others say you have to solder the horn wire/ connector from the new wheel into the old loom and then use that. Bit confusing haha

I really appreciate the advice though mate, thanks a lot! :)

This is the airbag wiring needed for sport steering wheel without multifunction.

Please read the following links, you must take account all instructions, step by step:

Because is your first time, it is highly recommended that you contact JIC Cracked, you surely learn pretty much what you expect on modifications and VCDS.
