Engine wise i figured upgrading turbo on the 1.6 wont give me what i want and for the same cost i could do a 2.0 CR swap.
so saving for that.. will post details as soon as i start building the engine
350+ hp is the goal.

I'm running 312mm fronts too and 256 Vented! in the rear. i have the same rims as you do hehe!

Ow that means i'm still good for at least another 50k Kilometers.. Sorry other side of the Pond!
You still have your DPF? mine regens too often and will be going sooner than later! normaly they last about 120k - 200K KM so i bet yours is almost full if still present.
have about 125K KM on mine now
I will post some pics in a while too, working hard to get everything ready for this season. WRC rear bumper with r32 look diffuser in CF and lots of other interior goodies in CF, and of course the best rims of them all in a special colour
But yeah the engine build write up etc... maybe next year or the year after.. sourcing parts and funding this project aint easy!!

The DPF was broken at 160tkm. But everything else work fine!

Since I last updated I fitted 312mm brakes and 6C GTI bumper
To fit the 312mm brakes I had to swap the hubs, the ones I got came off an A1, one side was from a 1.6 tdi 105ps and the other from a 1.4tsi. The calipers and carriers are off a mk1 Leon Cupra.
The 6C GTI bumper needed new bumper guides. I had the exhaust done by style dynamics, they deleted the backbox and welded on a new stainless steel pipe with new tips.
