From memory
1.0 8V 50 bhp
1.4 8V 60 bhp
1.6 8V 75 bhp
1.4 16V 100 bhp (Sorry corrected typo 1.6
)
1.9D - do they have valves?????
64 bhp but they are very small pit ponies 
And the one I forgot
1.3 8V 55 bhp (only in early MKIV's)
1.0 8V 50 bhp
1.4 8V 60 bhp
1.6 8V 75 bhp

The UK never had the 1.6 16v (which yielded 125 bhp).
The 1.0 had 50 horses AFAIK, the 1.3 8v had 55.

1.4 8V is 60 BHP and ain't much faster IMHO - they are quite heavy cars and it costs a bit in performance compared to plastic fantastics like saxo's etc - upside is they don't fold up as badly, I'll settle for that!!!!dubpolo wrote:the 1.0l is 50BHP, very very very slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
