Having a wee trawl earlier and noticed Whiteline list a 24mm bar for the 6R, has anyone got one?

Please can you explain what are the benefits of this bar on the rear axle? Thanks.

Theoretically exactly the same as the front ARB, Adds an extra link across the rear suspension, had a 20mm bar on my Fabia, but as it was fitted at the same time as I fitted Eibach's it's hard to say how much of a difference this one component made, all in all after they were fitted the difference in handling was like night and day!

I was enquiring just out of curiosity!

It improved the handling on your Skoda but did it improve the road holding? I've found, over the years when driving competition prepared FWD cars that reducing rear end roll can reduce adhesion and induce excessive oversteer. Lots of fun and spectacular to watch but in the final analysis slower around most circuits. It really depends how efficient the suspension is before modification, if it is poor then an anti roll bar or upgrade may improve matters, if it is good it might make matters worse. The life of a dedicated modifier is never easy is it!
