With byte16 set to 0xFF it still doesn't work, but it does flash quickly (once < 50ms or so) when going going from 2->1. Byte 23 does not influence issue.

Hi Jos, I've been through the wiring schemes again, maybe I messed up somewhere.
But it appears to be ok. You also don't have any errors on your VCDS autoscan? Your coding looks perfectly fine to me. Really strange. I cannot make any chocolate of it...
Could you check your fuses maybe? It's a long shot.

You have a multimeter, right? Could you check whether all wiring is intact? It probably is, since your problem shows up at both sides.

It should work, the BCM of the Bluemotion is capable of sending out the correct signals.
Somehow it appears not to be in xenon mode, if it were then I'd expect some errors about the communication with the LED module.

Could you try this coding, just as a reference?

It's a few codings of my old 1.2TDI with OEM xenon. It might throw a few erros since the equipment is different but at least the lighting should be ok.

Hello,

I have checked the autoscan again and there are no errors in the CECM. Is the CECM capable of detecting faulty DRL LEDs?

I have also checked the fuses; they're fine. The halogen DRL also works fine if I connect it again. I think the 6V I measure in switch mode 1 or 2 must be due to a cold bulb detection.

I've tried to apply the codings you gave me; it won't allow me to set it due to an error ("Request out of range").

I have checked the wiring I have added myself. I actually measure a voltage so it has to be connected all the way, I think.

Each 5 cycles (by pulling of wiper stalk) is set from factory.

It's just a suggestion (not tested), but now I have the curiosity about it. We will have to look for it.

I've found out.
The 09centr.electr adaptation channel 42 is define the quantity of wiper stalk's pulling to run the headlight washer. Next step is to find out how to change its running time

Thank you very much for your help!

I tried to apply most of your coding and found myself with partially working headlights. After modifying my coding byte by byte, I found the error in my coding.

If anyone else experiences issues with DRL, try the following:
Enable bit 4 in byte 22 (or change it to 0x10).

This fixed it for me!

Yes, this fact embarrassed me to. Many polo owners in Russia tried to retrofit a high line door motors, changing the whole door harnesses, but stlill have not a positive result. Somebody wrote a guess that when you provide the door motor retrofitting, the door unit's correct coding not the most important procedure, it has to be adapted basically and in theory the official dealer this could provide.

i guess the electric adjustable mirrors and the comfort function.
you probably already tried the many codings available in the autoscans. and the bcm 7E0 in firegrafiks car should support it for sure
