So haven't posted in a while as I've been waiting for my induction kit which should be here this week
While I've been waiting I've installed a set of hids
Painted my rear badge
Red footwell lights
And started to polish up my inlet manifold
I am also in discussion with a friend over having a boot build done which should look pretty awesome
A couple more changes this week to come aswell
Next month I will be ordering my milltek cat back system
And strut brace
Here is some pictures for anyone looking

Your engine bay is looking mint!
How much did the black Forge caps set you back?
Also how did you get your inlet manifold so nice?!?
Mine looks all roughed up and would love to do what you have done to it.
With your Cat back system have you gone resonated or unresonated?
I'm going to be getting mine this month/next and just wanting to hear some feedback on how tolerable it is on a daily basis.

Re: My project 9n3 getting her ready for show season
Thank you very much mate
My inlet manifold took quite a bit of work I had to sand it with a 80 grit paper then work all the way up to 6000
Then used 3 different polishes at a hour a time
Did take a while but looks so much better
I was lucky with my forge black caps I was at a show with a forge stand and got all 3 for £40 quid
I haven't brought my exhaust yet but I will go for a non resonated because it's louder
I'm either buying a milltek or getting one custom made
The advantage of having one custom made is the can design it to how you want it and they can also get different sounds and how loud you want it
The company did advise buying the milltek down pipe then they will fit a sports cat all the way back
What's your Facebook name would be good to see your car

Re: My project 9n3 getting her ready for show season
No problem!
Oh right a fair bit of time then! Looks well worth it though.
Bet you're not going to any other people with that mod.
That's such a good deal!
Looking on line there double that for the set!
Might go for the Porsche 911 ones myself.
Haha excellent reason! Probably going for that one as well.
How much more would a custom set you back compare to a Miltek one? Guessing its going to be a fair bit.
Decided to just make a build/progress thread (finally)

Re: My project 9n3 getting her ready for show season
Well actually the custom exhaust is the same price as the milltek around £350 if you get the cat back so it's hard to choose atm
Only problem is I want a full exhaust from milltek but it needs to be stage 2 remapped other wise the engine management light come on and I'm quite far away from that TBH due to fund
What I think I'm gunna do is
A cat back milltek then a stage one until next year which I should be running around the 200bhp mark
The high bhp you go you've also got to think about breaking so you will need to buy the bigger calipers like Porsche or brembos
The kit alone for the callipers can set you back 300
So you have to do things in moderation
Time will soon tell where I end up
The winter will be here soon so that's when I will take her off the road and think about different
Wheels
bumpers
Lowering
Flushing the door strips and stuff like that
I'm also going to put 2 recaro bucket seats from the vxr in her when the prices drop atm you looking at 700 for the pair but I want the heated ones as I have heated seats in mine
