Optional packs - GT

Post by Robby71 »

Hi
I've seen a Polo GT with optional winter and light+ sound packs, what exactly are these extras?

Cheers

Robby, if you go to the VW website and into the vehicle configurator for the Polo or download the Polo price list, it gives details of what's included in the option packs. For the 2 packs you're asking about, these include the following;

Winter Pack; Heated seats, heated windscreen washer jets, headlight washers and low washer fluid warning light.

Light+Sound Pack; assume you mean Light+Sight Pack, as there isn't a Light+Sound Pack; Automatic dimming interior rear-view mirror, automatic headlights on with coming/leaving home lighting function, separate daytime running lights and rain sensor for wipers.

If the Polo GT has the optional xenon headlamps, then the headlights come with headlamp washers and low washer fluid warning. So the Winter pack on a xenon-specced Polo GT will comprise just the heated seats and heated windscreen washer jets.

Thanks for the info - car was advertised as light and sound pack + winter pack - maybe they got the sound bit wrong?
Looking close up it's got the heated seats buttons, headlight washers (no xenons), auto lights on switch.
Got the dealer down to just over £13k for a 2015 with 10000 miles, white, 3 doors, tints, anthracite wheels - seems a good price but not much cheaper than an A1 S-Line 1.4tfsi which i was also considering :? difficult to choose - the Polo has more power but A1 has sporty styling, not sure which will hold it's value more?

Well got the dealer down to £13k yesterday and left a deposit today so it should be mine soon :D going for a drive/ inspection on saturday (140 miles away) so hope it's mint (well it is a white Polo but hope it hasn't got a hole in the middle :lol: )

Trying to end my lease early on Fiesta ST2 as i still have 3 months left to run and don't want 2 cars to insure - dealer said they'll hold the Polo if need be though
