New Member here , have been a VW enthusiast for many years ..... i am now over 50 and have been on Mk5Gti forum for some while. Bought this for my lovely wife yesterday. 2016 Polo R Line 1.0tsi and very impressed with it , really great quality.
I have had many VW's Mk 1 2 3 4 5 Gti's lazt being an ED30 , also a VR6 . Joined up yesterday and had a good look around the site but couldn't find much specific to this 1.0tsi model , bit new i suppose ? Will probably either get the roof wrapped or painted black , possibly the wing mirrors. Wife had a Mini before so glad thats gone so i don't have to move her car off the drive to get mine out , i can just take hers. I will get another Golf when i stop using my fresent Land Rover to cart stuff about !

My 2015 Blue GT, absolutely adore it.
Alacantra heated seats, chrome exhaust and sunroof.
Full interior & exterior LEDs (white interior looks ace)
Black front badge (awaiting black rear)
Getting the lower front grill painted in black acrylic to match upper grill, wind mirrors, roof and rear windscreen details in a few weeks.
Debating a front splitter too.

New to this forum.
Got a 2015 silk blue gti with dsg.
Had it for 10 months now with 6500mi on the clock.
It's got all the bells & whistles except for rear parking camera.
Odd that in Finland you can only order them with 4 doors and the dsg, would have gone for the manual otherwise but on the other hand it's kind of a luxury not to always have to row.
Pretty happy with it so far. A couple of issues though. Wouldn't mind having some help from you guys. Must find an appropriate topic to start my whining in but thought I'd post a pic first.

Re: Polo 6R/6C Photo Gallery
Hello all, i'm new to this forum so I thought I would introduce myself. I'm Adam and I purchased my 6C GTI DSG 1.8TSI back in January. I have a few additional mods fitted to my car which are as listed:
DTUK FSR+ and pedal box
ITG SJC Custom intake
H&R 35/55mm lowering springs
Rota Torques 17x7.5J (white - photo below is on standard wheels)
TPI 15mm Spacers all around
I have ran my car for 22.5k miles over the past 7 months and have loved every bit of it. I currently admin a Polo 6R/6C OC on Facebook but would like to share my opinions and car with a wider range of Polo Owners.
I factory ordered the car back in september 2015 with all the extras (exulting: app-connect, climate control and nav) I decided to upgrade to my 6C GTI after owning a 6R GTI and it forever needing gallons of oil granted it was such a fun car to drive. However the 6C is just another level; I have seen as quick as 5.2 seconds 0-60... 1/4 times of 14.2seconds.. and had endless fun over the past 7 months. I have quite a few plans ahead over winter to get some more performance and track spec out of the car. That's my introduction finished so I look forward to chatting with some of yourselves on here.
