Going to fit foot well lighting but not sure how to wire up to reading light so could someone tell me wire the 2 wires from footwell lights go to thanks

You cut two of the wires in to the light and solder them to that.
BUT make sure it is the right to. one is earth and the other is live while the doors are open.
If you use the other live wire the lights will be on all the time when the doors are unlocked.

Never choose the
brown wire.
You must choose the
red /
black (live) and
brown /
black (earth with dimming) for footwell lights...

The 2 wires on the left of the photo are the ones anyone wants if there are going to do this will get photos up later

I run a cable from the interior light down the passengers pillar to the first foot well then thought the dash to the drivers foot well

so are you saying that there is a live that only is killed once you lock the doors?
this might be what i'm looking for to install my head unit amp

My a pillar won't budge. Got trim removal tools. Are the clips scary tight? Scared I'll just rip them off or flex the plastic out of shape haha

Hey . How do you even get the lightunit out of the headliner ?. Is there any guides for that ?.

In mine I used a trim removal tool to remove the alarm sensor and then the same to remove the light unit I haven't got any pictures though I can try get some over the weekend if it helps

The pillar covers are very tight I even broke some of the clip holders on the pillar itself it just needs a good pull
