Shark fin aerial!

So i just posted a thread where i just bought the rcd510 radio and i was wondering since i have the rcd510 radio does that change anything relating if i wanted to buy a shark fin aerial ?.
P.S I had the rcd210 before.

If someone could find one for me cheap i would be really happy to change it from the normal wierdish looking aerial.

The sharkfin is only a phone and GPS antenna. There is no AM/FM reception through it.

I also got rid of the FM/AM aerial on the roof, I replaced it with two antennas in the rear window

Oh so i cant just swap out the old one and put a shark one just over the connectors ?. So the sharkfin doesnt really do anything rather then just making it look nice ?.
Im just a noob in these mods.
