Polo GTI grille on regular Polo?

Hey guys! Does anyone have any experience with changing a grille on the new facelifted 6R or 6C models? Have only seen videos for the 6R and from what I could tell they have a different amount of tabs to what I'm thinking of getting:

Different to the older 6R model which has a different size honeycomb and red strips on both top and bottom minus the chrome. Would this fit my 6R if its the 64 plate/facelifted version? I actually haven't even got a the right tool to remove my current one to see and was hoping someone could tell me before I invest in the tool and part

My Polo is already the same red as the GTI trim so I think it'll look great and if I ever see a 6C GTI bumper I'll try to get that too (can't find the new shape anywhere)
