Changing color of RCD210

Hello friends!

I drive POLO 6R 2009, it comes with factory CD/MP3 Radio, the model seems to be RCD 210. When the backlight is on, it is black text on blue background and it bothers me, because dash is white+red, however I've seen over the internet that this RCD210 also comes in white+red. So how this difference is configured? Are these two different units or is it configurable per unit? Basically, how can I get this white+red on my car? I've tried googling, but no luck

a 'cool' way is to change the LEDs that provide the background color. That is not easy but I've seen it before with the climatronic units.
I guess there is simply a different model with the other colors.

Thanks. But I think replacing LED would not be enough, as with BLUE background the screen shows black text, but for black background the text has to be white and I assume it is screen itself, not leds.

maybe it also needs a change of the polarization filter

So you assume it's worth it? I wonder what is the difference in part numbers? How do they sell two different units?

Models from 2012 have white text on a black background.

I replaced my RCD210 with an RCD310 and because I couldn't be bothered to sell mine I just ripped it apart. the screen is an LCD, I couldn't see a possible way to change the LED's. I could put some photos up if you want? I thought I'd rip it apart to see if it's possible to change the screen colour because my RCD310 is still that ugly blue colour.
