I have a 2015 BlueGT which looks understated from the front compared to the new GTi (don't like that front bumper) and the R-Line looks much sportier.
Has anyone swapped their GT bumper for a R-Line?
I'm undecided as although it looks better will it make the GT look a lesser model? - sorry don't want to sound as though i'm bashing the R-Lines but didn't know how to phrase it
I've seen the WRC bumpers but don't want to lose the fogs/ DRLs

BlueGT front bumper
I have a 15 blue gt and been thinking of getting the lower front grill sprayed to match the more shiny acrylic type finish on the upper grill. It's shiny on the new R Line's and looks so much better. Got offered £110 for it so will book it in when I get the chance. There's a photo in the galleries on here of a guy whose sprayed the grill. Worth it id say.

Why don't you just buy the one from the R-Line:

It will fit the Blue GT bumper and is much cheaper than a paint....

Do the foglight surrounds from a R-Line the GT bumper as they have lower parts overhanging?

No - only the center lower grill
Re: BlueGT front bumper
I changed my blue gt bumper to an R-Line and think it looks loads better!! It sits much lower to the ground giving it a better look in my opinion.
At shows it generally confuses people but as soon as they see the badges, interior and rear bumper they grasp that it is a GT. I would also say the car gets alot more looks when on the road with this bumper.

That does look better, you probably get more looks because of the white wheels as they make it stand outBessant93 wrote:I changed my blue gt bumper to an R-Line and think it looks loads better!! It sits much lower to the ground giving it a better look in my opinion.
