Dear All
I have just purchased a VW Polo 1.2 Match 60 (2012) and have just noticed a rolling noise inside the dashboard. It sounds like a small plastic bead which rolls left and right when cornering and can go forward and backwards when brake and accelerate. The sound is central or slightly to driver side at the centre vent level.
I have taken off all vent covers, removed the stereo etc to see if can see anything but nothing obvious. Likewise have attached hose pipe to dyson vacuum nozzle and played down all vents but again with no success.
Has anyone heard of this before or any ideas as garage and bodyworks guys over here not interested. Any help would be really appreciated.

Yes, I have that in my 2011 Audi S4, though mine is somewhere in the centre of the car, checked all storage areas - nothing, very very annoying!!!

Re: Noise Inside Dashboard
Hello
Any ideas anyone? Does anyone have a diagram of what is behind the dashboard to see if can work out the most likely areas? I have bought an endoscope and placed down each vent but very tricky to see. Sounds like more out in open than deep in vent pipe.
Any suggestions would be great or drawings of everything behind dashboard panels.
Thank you.
