I have just bought a '98 VW Polo, three door in dragon green. I've decided to try and update it a little bit.
A visit to the scrappy today found a 6N2 16V in silver, so I took the side repeaters, rear lights and a couple of bits from the inside intending to update and modify the car.
The rear lights fit perfectly, but when I plug in the connector and put the hazards on, two of the other lights top and bottom flash. Looking at the connector and the light, I suspect that I may have to swap over two wires in the connector.
Can anyone clarify exactly what I need to do to make these lights work in my 6N Polo?
Thanks in advance

It's a wire swap of two pins but I can't remember what

I used the above guide and it worked perfectly. Took about 30 min.
