Do they work?
Big expense and faff to take the carrier plate & strut into a garage.
Much as I would love a hydraulic press at home it's a bit extravagant for something I would use hardly ever.

Don't waste your time
It's a garage job with a press. They can do it in minutes

I realise s garage will do it in minutes but they don't charge by the minute.

A good Garage will do it for £20 if you take them the hub and new bearing and ask nicely
