K&N Panel Filter in 16v

Post by funkyfatbeatz »

I was thinking of getting a K&N panel filter to go in
my 16v, but I was a bit concerned about all the crap
that comes up from the engine breather pipe.

Does anyone else have this problem?

the breather pipe on the 16v does give out a lot of crap

i think it is normal as most of the 16v's i have seen are the same

just make sure you clean the throttle body once in a while.

One thing to do is put a filter on the breather, then put that filter into a "bath" to remove the smells.

It's not an MOT pass tho. You have been warned.

I have a filter, and it stinks of oil when I'm stood still in the car! My 16v kicks out a lot of crap.
