Polo GTI TSI

Post by Mrjaffa »

Had mine for a month. Loving it! Only had Fiestas before that with little engines, so this is very enjoyable.

I've never had a turbo charged car and just wondering how you can tell its turbo charged when you're driving it, apart from it being rather quick. I don't see a turbo button

The only extras I have is the Alcantara seating, which is lovely, and the arm rest. I thought I was getting cruise control but apparently not.

I think I have seated seats as I have the Alcantara upgrade.

I've noticed whenever I pull up at home, my lights seem to brighten or angle differently, what's that about?

I bought online and it came from a dealer miles away. Am I right in thinking if I have any problems, I can just walk into any dealer? I am getting a noise from the boot, like something sliding around in there. There's nothing in the boot and when I look under and even take the spare wheel out, there's nothing there. It's driving me mad.

I'm not sure if I've explored all the gadgets, you can read the manual but of course most of that I won't have as they are extras.

So what's everyone favourite gadgets?

Turbocharged cars have a "turbo gap". Turbo requires medium to high RPM to kick in, so on low RPM car is a little bit sluggish. You feel it in our Polo, because below 2.5k RPM it seriously lacks power :)

This should happen when you start the car. LED lights have auto-adjusting feature.

Any authorized retailer should be good. You can book a visit using VW website.
