g40 exhaust on a 1.0

can anyone help...would a g40 exhaust system fit on a mk3 1.0???,theres one one ebay but i didnt know whether it would fit?

Nah it wouldn't fit and if you tried to make it fit you would blow your car up and you will catch a nasty virus, But it would fit my car lol.

I have had my eye on that too, It will fit a treat on your car and theres even a reducer to fit straight onto your old cat.

also helps if you've got g40 manifold and bypass pipe

needs to be longer to fit a saloon properly and the angles might make it bang on the floor

I was gunna get an extra bit of pipe between the middle section and the backbox. Didn't know about the floor banging bit though

Why's that?

All downpipe diameters are the same from a 1 litre to a g40, being 1 3/4" respectively. It's the middle and back boxes that are smaller diameter pipe.
