Dash cam fitting

Post by MczZippy »

Evening all!

Just looking to fit my dash cam, has anyone fitted one? Also how did you get the wire into the fuse box under the dash?

I tried to remove the a-pillar trim but it wouldn't pull off, any ideas?

Cheers!

I think if you search around, this has been covered already, maybe even in this forum, if not look on the main Ibiza and Fabia forums for facts.

What car have you got mate? The side pillar trim is very hard to come off I broke all the clips on my first polo but since I got the GTI I done it a different way.

This is on a Polo Blue GT

Sorted, managed fit without removing panels and hidden cable :)

Can you enlighten a bit how you did it? Maybe a picture?

Probably pulled the rubber off and tucked it into the plastic pillar trim

I've just done a quick DIY guide on how I did mine. It's a bit late at night so the pictures are a bit crap. Hopefully it makes sense :)
