Another problem I found is I could not activate the TPMS in the IC. I activate the function and it saves, it does not give an error message but it does not save the change. In the past this function has worked but now it is not working, I think it has been since the BCM change.

This could be because your IC doesn't support RKA. Could you please share the 17 Instrument autoscan info.
For example I couldn't activite brake pads wear indication. My MFA+ (Maxidot) IC rejects coding. At least IC firmware upgrading and modifiing is needed. Like here Eugene Zzzhuk provided

try enabling brake pad wear indicators... you'll run into the same. VCDS has a documented byte for it but is simply rejected with a code 31.

Have you installed your new GTI IC with MFA+ ?

It seems that Volkswagen forgot to integrate many things in 6R Instrument Cluster.

Is compatible because it has worked before changing the BCM. I have an autoscan before the BCM exchange that has the right coding for tpms.

Nope. Ive to cancel the order. The seller from Aliexpress responded that their selling chinese version of IC with chinese character and they can flash english character for me only for 500 usd. With the exceeding rates of usd last time, ive to cancel. [emoji24]

Bad news.
You already know that if in the future you want to install the HBA system you have to install an instrument cluster with MFA+

Really bad news. Its ok. Will see how it goes in the future. At the moment, will install bcm max first and utilize its function to the max whenever possible with my stock IC.
