Filled up today for the first time and got 52 litres into the tank (with 30 miles range showing on the MFD) !! Tank is only rated at 45 litres... Have I a super-sized tank or is this normal for the Polo?
No sign of a flood on the petrol station forecourt so it's all gone in

One thing, there is meant to be a space left at the top of the tank for expansion, you clearly have force filled to the top, I'd only ever do that if I intended to drive off and immediately run that car until I had used the extra fuel up - otherwise, you might just end up with trouble with the EVAP system which might hurt your wallet a bit replacing the carbon vapour trap and maybe other parts - you have been warned.

Filled to first click of the pump, so can't understand how so much fuel went into the tank. Certainly didn't brim it to overflowing.
Come to think about it, I brimmed my 5ltr petrol can the other day, though decanted some across into another one as soon as getting home, and that "brimmed" fill was 6ltr, I sure that I have not managed that in the past, maybe I should also avoid that filling station for a while?
Maybe the fuel companies need to recal their delivery heads to make up for the fuel not shooting up in price every other day?
