Hi,hoping to get a bit of advice on buying a polo.
My lad has the chance of a 2011 ,1.2 polo.
It's his friends car and seems sorted enough . I haven't had chance to check it out properly yet though.
I have been reading and it seems cam chain problems occur on this engine around 60k.Its done 80000 so if it is the one with the'lifetime' timing chain it could be reaching the fail stage.
Do they all have chains ,can they be changed, roughly how much would it cost?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.cheers Bry.

Re: Buying a polo
It's likely to be the 1.2 60hp in the case.bryan.williams wrote:Not sure sorry, lowist ins group so guessing it's a non turbo
