On my research thats slightly lower than the general market values for 1.0's of that age.

I've been looking into selling my 1.0E and prices can range anywhere from £4995 on a VW dealership forecourt (2000-X, 20'000 miles) down to £3995 for a private sale (2000-X, 44'000 miles).

Overall, £3500 is essentially what a main dealer would offer as a trade-in price without any haggling, so by my reckoning it's a bit of a bargin.

if its in mint condition then yes its worth it.

auction prices tend to be lower, however condition is slightly worse.

hope this helps
