Media display panel not working

My media display panel has stopped working, just a blank screen, although radio still works. Does anybody have any ideas?

Try a hard reboot by press and holding the power button on the headunit until the Volkswagen splash screen appears

Thanks Jammydodger, went out to the car to try your suggestion, turned the ignition on and of course the unit lit up and worked perfectly. Anyway, at least I now know what to do next time.

Sorry to be stupid but where is the power button is this the on/off button for the radio ?

It's the big round volume button bottom left of the radio... push and hold for 10 seconds

I drive a vw polo 1.4 2012 model the display unit suddenly stop displaying anything. My power button and volume is on the right side. I have hold this in still now change. Have a channel button on the left side to change channels should I try that button? Please help

There's been numerous software updates for media units, you best go to VW retailer and get them to check it out but make sure you tell them exactly what's happening
