6R Start/Stop Problems

Hi all,

Had my 6R for over a month now and noticed a week back that my start/stop isn't working/coming on. I'm pretty sure the VW dealer told me my car comes with start/stop technology, correct me if I'm wrong? 63 plate VW Polo 1.2 TSI 6 R line (105PS)

Tried turning all air con, radio etc off and it still doesn't shut the car off whenever I stop in neutral like it's supposed to. Car runs absolutely fine, no warning lights or anything

Only reason I ask if my car even has start/stop is that I can't find the button that's shown in my handbook to permanently shut off the system on my dash leading me to believe I don't even have it but I do remember the car shutting off on the test drive right back when I bought it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I don't know when they started fitting these cars with STOP/START, but, I'd expect all cars with it would also have the disabling button which lights up when pressed. Think it is an "A" with a line through it (can't remember).

Yeah I looked in the handbook and it said there would be a button with an A on it to disable the System but I can't find it on my dash anywhere but I do remember start stop working fine on the test drive so I'm really confused
