the interesting thing is also, that we can use this wiring layout to operate a different relay through the BCM.
so maybe not the heated windshield relay, but an extra light, an extra 12V socket, an extra system with a simple push button with a light when active.
very good job CNK and firegrafik, I hope we can make a good collaboration with the russian forum. They are very knowledbeable and skilled

Upper connector is similar to this from 230V inverter in Audi A8/ Golf 7: 1J0 972 751
Bottom connectors: 071 973 851
Big thanks Vitalii for all informations about the heated windshield from Polo Sedan in Daria86's Hatchback!
And thank you also to all the others from drive2 who took part in this discussion!
PS. I was shooting this pictures at night with two flashlights in left hand and flash from my mobile, so in some photos you can see the thin wires to heat the glass.

I think so, I got the information from Vitalii that to install the heated windscreen is not necessary to remove the dashboard (as is the case with switch to Climatronic).

I will add one more specific feature. Fernando, maybe it could be better to add it to the your first post as total consolidated post.
Each Polo Sedan with heated windscreen has 140A alternator. If windscreen without heating there is 110A alternator. I suppose it is because of huge power consumption of the windscreen. And if switch on the all devices (front+rear heating, headlights, fog lights, seat heaters etc. 110A alternator couldn't get managed with power consumption on engine idle rpm.
BUT, there is some Polo Sedan owners who installed heating windscreen with factory's 110A and it work fine. But they tries not switch in the all consumptors simultaneously, to avoid voltage drop
Yes, remember that you must faithfully respect the wire thickness. From fuse 56 to ground point 671.
4.0 mm is a very thick wire, it is necessary to prevent the cable itself from producing any type of resistance.
All power supplied must be for the windshield.
