BlueGT 6R or 6C?

Post by bcjcben1 »

So I'm looking to get a BlueGT polo, and I'm not sure wether to get a 6R version for around £9,000, or wether it's worth paying the extra 1-2,000 for the 6C version? I much prefer the 6C interior and features like SatNav parking sensors etc, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money? Both with similar mileage of about 36,000

well, if you like the 6C 'features' like the active cruise control, discover media satnav system, the exterior styling (even though the BlueGT didn't get the LED headlights) then I'd say it's worth the 1000 extra.
The MQB platform is a very nice and versatile base.
Retrofitting of stuff (BCM, Satnav) has become a bit more complicated due to the component protection

The 6R is based on the PQ25, that's more or less golf MK4 electronics. it's quite nice for tweaking. I like it a lot personally. But that's maybe more the modder in me than the rational mind speaking.

in the end you'll end up comparing optional extras between the 9K and 11K... so it's hard to say what's better
