I was thinking about this for my next project... IMO heres what you would need to make it work -

1 x mk2 derby or mk3 polo saloon (hatchbacks don't work) - £500 - £1000
1 x rayvern hydraulics system - £2000
1 x set of gold wire wheels - £1500
1 x candy red respray - £1500
Misc chrome bits - £500

Total - £6500

As projects go thats not a great deal to spend and you would have one monster cool car. The hydraulic set i looked at was the full blend 'bouncing' one, hence the high price.

I'd do it if i had the cash - no doubt
