Re: Turbo ?!
Not without a huge amount of work
Turbo, manifold, intercooler, Ecu, loom and that's not even half of it
Better to sell up and get a TSI model

Re: Turbo ?!
The engine is quite different. The pistons are hardened for a start, along with a load of other changes to cope with the higher output
Is this on VW finance?

Re: Turbo ?!
Is it possible to replace the turbo on the 1.2TSI with a 1.4TSI? Can i get away with just installing it and put a custom map on?

Re: Turbo ?!
The turbo isn't much different. The displacement of the engine is where the additional power is

Ah right, i wanted to do something similar to this:
https://www.etuners.gr/vw-polo-1-2tsi-bigturbo/
I would be more than happy with a 140hp polo XD

Re: Turbo ?!
I thought that a lot of the newer 1.2TSI 110PS were making at least 128hp at the flywheel when checked on rollers, maybe I'm wrong? Then Stage 1 remap gives a quoted 135PS ?

Re: Turbo ?!
If it's via VW on finance, then changing the turbo will breach your contract with them. I wouldn't even consider it

Re: Turbo ?!
If it's on finance, you don't own the car till the finance is paid off. They get very funny about modifiying it when it's done direct via VW. Small bits yes, but changing major engine components is a big no. Not to mention, it'll void your warranty
