Hi,
This is my first post on here, my girlfriend has recently got herself a lovely 2015 Polo GT.
She's in love with it but she wants a bit more induction noise/turbo noise.
Im going to assume an open air air filter will be the best for this however after having a look under the bonnet it doesn't look like one can be just stuck on.
Does anyone know what pipework/filter is needed to achieve this?
Many thanks
Bluemotion 1.4 GT

Re: Bluemotion 1.4 GT
It can be done but it will probably reduce power and increase petrol consumption. Very few of the claims made by the aftermarket equipment suppliers are verifiable and on the BGT induction side VW have a pretty optimal set up.
There are a couple of threads somewhere on the forum where people have carried out that modification, a lot of them fall at the first post as they draw hot air from under the bonnet rather than from a sealed external ambient temperature collector.
If you go ahead I hope it gives you what you want but don't forget the old adage about the myth of a free lunch.
