One tail light dimmer than other

Hello folks

On my polo 1.2 match the right tail light is considerably dimmer/weaker than the left one. To the point that in the day time you can’t even see it. Any reasons for cause and/or solutions?

could be a bad earth connection.

check the other lights see if they are the same.

I'd suggest that you start with some basic checks, so, get both rear clusters out and check which bulbs are in each - and check that the tail lights do not use two bulbs but one has failed.

Bad earth connection would dim all the light one cluster, not just a singular bulb.
A dying light could go a bit dim.

Got the problem solved. The tail light had a faulty manufactured bulb. Front sidelights had some loose wiring
