Thanks joe6 I will get some red rubber grease and lubricate the
bushes with that and see if it quietens down then I will be very happy.

Red (rubber) grease will do no harm, but there should not be anywhere to apply that grease to reduce this noise, the bonded rubber bush should only be distorting and recovering when the rear beam gets "rotated" about its fixing points. I'd think if it is creaking, then for some reason, it has failed and is now being rotated along with the beam and not just getting distorted and recovering.

For instance, if you jack up the rear of that car and support it on axle stands etc, then remove the lower bolts from the shock absorbers, the rear beam should not simply rotate down until the road wheels rest on the ground - the beam should remain where it is keeping the road wheels off the ground and you should be able to flex it down and it should return up to where its natural position is/was due to the bonded bushes supporting it, that is if these bonded bushes are still intact.
