a girl at my work has a Polo with a 1.4 badge on the back. i was wondering what BHP is has?

both the 75 and the 100 models have 16 valves. so.....
a 1,4 badge on the back (and rear drum brakes) is 75bhp
a 16v badge on the back (and rear disks) is 100bhp
also the 75 has a redline just before 6k whereas the 100 redlines above the 6k mark.

mines got rear drums full colour coded 1.4 badge on back (well used to) and is 60bhp

Mines got discs all around opose to drums, and it's got a 1.4 badge at the back.
It's the 16v version.
Insurance document says 60BHP, but it's the 75 version
AND IT'S AN AUTO

if yours is a 16v jon then you have 75.
as regards your discs kapur, what model is yours? maybe the last 6n2's came out with discs all around?

2001 on a Y plate 6n2 1.4 16v auto 5 door.
How do i find out if it's one of the last?
What date was the last manufacturing period for the 6n2's?

don't know about Y plates and such cos i'm not in the uk. 6n2's were on the line well into '02.
