If you go on to ECP and put in your reg it will bring them
up there they are 288mm not the larger 312mm. Tears are 232mm if you require those.
Cheers

Re: brake pads for blue gt
in the front you'll need the pads for 288/312mm rotors (the pads have the same size). in the rear it's one size fits all for the polo 6r.
Re: brake pads for blue gt
would the pads have the same PR code as the discs?

I can only find one specific group of pads for your car, strange that you are finding a size option!

Re: brake pads for blue gt
That is what I was casually doing, seeing as you had reported having problems, I just inputted a 2014 VW Polo with 1.4 petrol engine - which brought up 256, 288 and 312 options, but as it seems that your car will only have the 288 front discs, there was only a few brands shown all with the same size of pads.
I do not need to replace my wife's August 2015 Polo 1.2TSI 110PS SEL pads, but when I do need to replace them I'd probably stick with TMD Friction products, which in a German built car should mean Pagid or Textar, I'm not sure if buying ATE pads makes better sense even although the front callipers are Teves (Alfred Teves = ATE), I've forgotten what brands are fitted to the front brakes of that in the factory, I say "brands" as normally you can make out the pad manufacturer's brand then another brand is often printed on along with maybe the official VW Group part numbers.
Edit:- my wife's Polo was built in South Africa as it is a 5 door car for RHD market, the factory fitted front pads are Jurid!
Another Edit:- I've just discovered that "Jurid by Honeywell" is a Federal Mogul group company if that means anything, I think that VW Group now use window wiper systems that in the parts cats are listed as FM which is again probably Federal Mogul though I have not worked out which company it is that has now come under the Federal Mogul banner.

Re: brake pads for blue gt
Just thought I’d add on to this topic than start a new one. I have seen these and am wondering whether they would fit my Blue GT as they seem to fit every other polo.

Re: brake pads for blue gt
TRW = Lucas FSIII, but I think that version of front calliper is now manufactured maybe in India by Mando, the Blue GT will have the higher powered version of front brakes which are ATE, ie Teves, so normally they would not have TRW or TMD Friction branded pads, as I said Jurid which is a FM group company.

Re: brake pads for blue gt
So has anyone any idea whether the Brembo discs and pads would be suitable for my Blue GT?
