Re: CNK's Polo 6R 1.4 Shadow Blue
A question for people who make wiring harness: where do you buy wires?
What do you recommend? Have you bought someone on Aliexpress?
I found:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/20PCS-G ... 16949.html

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/German- ... 16127.html

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/25m-UL- ... 07517.html

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1meter- ... 45342.html

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1mm-Squ ... 47292.html

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5-meter ... 11546.html

I need cables for additional lights, etc. (eg. footwell lights). I prefer few different thicknesses, because they will probably be useful in the future

occasionally I recycle wires from old wiring looms, otherwise I order wires from Conrad.de.
I have a few sizes, 0,5mm2 1.0mm2 mostly in a few colors (red, yellow, brown, black, purple)

would you want to buy somewhere else with lower quality?

Thanks! I didn't know this site/company, I bought wires several times in a local electronics store, but wires were different than 'automotive'ciclo wrote: Wed Feb 21, 2018 10:55 am Precisely this company is located in your country, why the hellwould you want to buy somewhere else with lower quality?
The repair beam from the authorized service station is expensive and short, so I thought that AliExpress could be a good solution. Well, it's good that I asked before buying
PS. In anticipation of warmer days, I have recently watched a Spanish series "La casa de papel" and I am impressed. One of the best TV series I've seen

If you have a good time with that series I glad for that.CNK wrote: Wed Feb 21, 2018 11:07 am PS. In anticipation of warmer days, I have recently watched a Spanish series "La casa de papel" and I am impressed. One of the best TV series I've seena lot of action and... money for car parts
I don't know that Spanish series, and I don't think I have the slightest interest in watching it.

Hi, very nice work. Nice to see
I'm looking after a footrest for my Polo 1.2 TSI from 2013, but I don't find anything for this....
Can you confirm me that the Golf 7 model fit (Footrest - Golf 7 GTI - 5Q1 864 551) ? Did you mount yours ? Do you have pictures of it ?
Thanks a lot

I fit it in this way, understanding that 'fit' has a very broad meaning.

It depends on your skills for a good final result... my Golf GTI footrest remains perfect after these past years.

Hi iichel!!iichel wrote: Mon Jan 15, 2018 6:51 pm That looks like ESP8.2i for Polo 6R conversion to ESP9.0i for Polo 6C MQB and Audi A1 after 2015 (Euro 6 engines).
That will only work (I think) if you have Euro 6 engine (1.4 TSI ACT). Did not work for my 1.2 TDI engine, I was not able to code ABS.
If you go from ESP8.2i to ESP9.0i for PQ25, it is plug and play. You don't need to change the wires.

I own a car with ESP 9.0i ABS Module, do you know is Indirect TPMS can be fitted? I tried adaptation but inmediatly says that it´s not supported by the module.
