Its just a guess but perhaps the former owner had the DAB installed in the car?
Black Fakra is normally for the DAB connection.
I don’t have any extra Fakra behind the taillights in my Blue GT 2014.
You must still try to remove the read lid trim and have a closer look at your amplifier

Yeah I'll continue to remove the panels and see what the cable is for

This is the black Fakra cable i found.
One cable from it goes down underneath the taillight. The other appears to go along the left side of the car towards the radio.
Havent removed any more panels yet to investigate further.

Sorry to open an old thread but reading through can you confirm I’m right?
I have the diversity system so I replace the rear amplifier with me the dab / fm unit you posted earlier.
Then I use the existing cable that runs to the radio head unit and plug that into the dab connector on the back instead of the fm2 socket?
So I’ll only have 1 plug in the white plug bottom left and the other in the black dab socket?

Hi guys,
Just a quick question before I start installing the Kufatec kit. Are u sure I need to streach the cable included? Are there no fakra plugs male/female adapters that I can use to keep the original FM cable in the car?
Are there any difference in the original FM cable itself in suppose to the DAB cable included?
I guess I would need a male yellow (K) to dubble black (A) in the back for the amplifier. And then dubble to single fakra in the front connected to the OEM DAB+ player.
Hope someone understands my question

You can buy extension leads/adaptors with Fakra connections. Not sure about prices though. See this link:chmoe_79 wrote: Tue Mar 27, 2018 12:36 am Hi guys,

Thanks for the links! First I need to know if it actually will work to use the OEM FM cable. If it does then why spend time removing panels to get the DAB cable all the way to the radio unit. Does anyone know?
