...and then there were two!!!!!! (I love ebay)

Post by dub envy »

In two night of bidding I have won 2 things on ebay...

Firstly tonight...... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... RK:MEWN:IT

And last night I got.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... RK:MEWN:IT

Woot wOOT!!!

Yes, I know I already have one. My current one that I've had since new back in 1982 is satying as it is, in it's battered and used condition.

This new one is my project. Gonna make it look exactly like mine, but in brand new condition!! I'll be needing some Simplex 7 spoke white mag wheels for it, and some MX 2 finger brakes.

It will be getting a full respray and new stickers.

Well, there goes any mods on the Polo for a while!!

Cool.

I was always more of a Raleigh Grifter kid myself. Cheap and indestructable, and it only weighed slightly more than my polo does. I bet even those things are collectable now.

Personally, I hate ebay. I keep seeing all these cool old radio controlled cars that I could never afford as a kid, only to realise that I still can't afford them now.

I used to have one of those BMX's. Coolest things ever!

Unfortunately my parents gave it away without asking me.

Now that is funny!! I remember my mate had one of those when we were kids. Fantastic things! I always wanted a Chopper with teh gear stick in the middle. Never got one! I feel I had a deprived childhood. I can't believe how much they still cost though! £180!! Cripes!
