Is it simple to change the HT leads on a 2000 X-reg 1.0l ??

Post by fisha »

Ello folks,

had a quick scan through the search pages nd not turned up much.

Basically, i want to change the leads on the wife's 1.0 x-reg polo as its stuttering under load ( pointing directly the original fitment HT leads )

But, me being me, i want to fit better than normal set. I have on one of my V8's a set of 8mm Magnecors and on the other V8 a set of 8mm Mallory ones . . . . similar setup to this:

but

when i look at the current leads on the engine, they seem to be totally different tops that attach to the spark plugs ( or at least the look different from what i am used ).

Do the leads just unclip like normal ones ? and can i just fit another set in its place?

I didn't want to pull a lead off to find i'd bust something.

thanks, Donald

maybe go sweet talk your local stealer about it though? as if you're interested in buying leads from them, "once ive saved up the spare cash to do up the engine"..
