just make sure you fit a suitable rated fuse on to whatever this wire is going to.

How can i tell what amp fuse is needed ?

i doubt you would need anything bigger than a 5A fuse but i don't know what the wire is for.

Yes, that is as good as it looks, very nasty!

Edit:- alternatively, a professional has fitted some aftermarket equipment.
