Hi,

I'm looking to change my stereo from the RCD 310



to the RCD510



Does anybody know if it is just a straight swap? Is there any cables that I need to order with it?

If I'm not mistaken, the RCD510 has a a so called Diversity tuner, that has two antennas instead of the one that comes with the RCD310. Otherwise, straight swap.
You might get away with a two-to-one splitter for the FM antenna, so you'll still have a good FM signal. Otherwise you'll need a second antenna.

Will I need to do anything to get the bluetooth working correctly?

Currently have bluetooth in the car but cannot stream audio to the RCD310, only get phone calls coming through it.

it will very likely have the same functioning as you have with your RCD310.

That one doesn't have DAB which is one if the main features of the pictured RCD 510.

Also MarcoPolo, you will need a DAB aerial in order to use the DAB feature.
