I'm really happy to finally finish the mod. It looks like it's from factory!
If I didn't have 185cm of length, legs or a head, I'd be sitting in the back all the time!
You re welcome iichel! hope to see more photos when installed inside the car[emoji1360]
So I'm looking for some new winter wheels and I had some wheels to try on...
The wheels are from Audi A1: 16x7J ET34. 8X0601025BB
The tires are 215/45 R16
- Replaced the steering rack (not the steering column) with a version without hydraulic lines
- Replaced 16" Audi wheels with 16" Mallory wheels. I'll drive them in the winter with 4 new winter tires.

Some more work has been done:
- Replaced the steering rack (not the steering column) with a version without hydraulic lines
Why, whats the purpose ?
I replaced the steering column with the electromechanical system from the Polo 6C. This was after the electrohydraulic system (the pump) broke down. The steering rack and column are one system and replacing the rack was the last step of the retrofit.
