i mentioned lowering my car 60mm to a mechanic and he told me that its not worth doing as you will go through track rod ends every couple of months.
has anyone had this problem as havent come across it yet?

loads of ppl have their polos lowered and have no problems
i have ran mine at a 90mm drop all round for about 20k miles and no problems
well no problems yet.....

track rod ends? never heard of that one before.
DO IT
you're more likely to go through wheel bearings and shocks - i've never had any troubles

lowered mine 60 about 6 months ago aint had any problems yet

mines lowered 40mm for the last 2 months and no probs!
