Sorry for the newby question...
I've had my 2016 BlueGt for a couple of weeks now.
While checking around the engine compartment I noticed that coolant is being returned to the expansion tank (reservoir?) in a constant stream, via a hose at the top of the tank. Is this normal ??
Only asking because I haven't seen/noticed this on my previous cars.

Yes that is okay/good that is how the system has been designed to help purge out any trapped air, VW Group and many other car makers have used this method for many many years.
