Best 215 /40 R17 tyres?

Any recommendations on 215/40 17 tyres please?

I've just put some good year eagle f1 asymmetric 3 on the front of my gti in that size.

Seem to be better than the Bridgestones and also a fair bit quieter.

Michelin pilot sport 4 seem to get rave reviews, I would of gone for them if I was keeping the wheels.

I have some Bridgestone s001’s, they were on the GTI when I bought it and I just replaced them. Unfortunately, I should of looked up tyres as well because like the above comment states they are quite loud.

I have seen goodyears and continentals bounded about a few times, they usually have good reviews as alternatives.

I’m not a fan of Bridgestones, which my GTI came with from the factory. When I changed my wheels 3-4 months into ownership, I took the opportunity to change the tyres to Continentals, which I prefer to the Bridgestones.
