6n2 Gti Lump

Post by Musicfreek2002 »

I've had a change of mind.

How much do you reckon to have the 6n2 gti engine or the lupo gti engine transplanted into my mk4 6n polo?

try contacting JBS Auto Designs (advert at top of the page!) - they are the dogs when it come to transplants. probably looking at about £6K in total, but they will be upfront and honest about the price - what they tell you is what you pay, unlike a lot of places. Previous work includes the UKs first (probably world first?) mk4 polo G60, MK2 Golf R32 and MK5 Golf 1.8T

if its going to cost £6000 just buy a gti and have the brakes, interor and the dam right sexyness  i looked into a G60 lump in my old MK4 and it worked out at around £5000, with coilovers, big brakes, and a charger re-build, its not worth it unless you do it yourself and save ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ loads, but it won't be as good as JBS no where near!!

6k sounds a bit steep to me.
but remem, when u get the GTi engine, insurance will b Gti territory.

member 4paws on here has this GTi engine on his mk4. but he did a DIY job so it was a lot cheaper.
